PARS Technique for Acute Achilles Tendon Ruptures

Joshua A. Metzl, MD, (Denver, CO) presents the repair of Achilles tendon rupture using PARS (Percutaneous Achilles Repair System). The PARS features an anatomic contoured jig designed to fit within the paratenon. The PARS Suture Kit contains color‐coded #2 FiberWire® sutures and PARS needles that are used to create strong percutaneous locking sutures on the distal and proximal ends of the Achilles tendon.
