The <a href="https://www.arthrex.com/shoulder/dog-bone-button" data-new-window="true" title="Dog Bone™ Button" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Dog Bone™ Button</a> is a pre-contoured titanium button that allows the use of multiple FiberTapes for AC joint reduction, providing a construct that is twice as strong as existing AC joint repair devices. The <a href="https://www.arthrex.com/shoulder/ac-tightrope" data-new-window="true" title="AC TightRope®" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">AC TightRope®</a> enables surgeons to easily reconstruct acute AC joint separations in a minimally invasive manner, either open or arthroscopic. The Chronic AC Joint Reconstruction System assists with the reconstruction of chronic AC joint separation anatomically using a tendon graft with backup mechanical fixation, and the AC Joint Master System contains the instrumentation necessary to complete the acute and chronic AC joint repair techniques and can often be used as part of the above constructs.

Bone block cerclage is an innovative arthroscopic surgical technique that preserves the integrity of the subscapularis and provides a metal-free fixation of the bone graft.1 Two interconnected FiberTape and TigerTape™ cerclage sutures provide firm compression of the graft and strong fixation that minimizes construct displacement at high loads.2
The FiberTape Cerclage for Glenoid Bone Loss Implant System contains all the necessary implants and disposables for the procedure (except capsulolabral repair anchors). To help provide an easy and reproducible surgical technique, the kit includes an arthroscopic measuring probe, two 3-mm cannulated drills of different lengths to facilitate unobstructed drilling, and the MegaLoader suture-passing loop to aid in the passage of sutures into instruments and bone grafts.

FiberTape® Cerclage for Glenoid Bone Loss Implant System

Treatment of shoulder instability due to glenoid bone loss can be challenging. Common reconstructive techniques include the Latarjet procedure (coracoid transfer) or glenoid augmentation using autograft iliac crest. Dr. Matthew Provencher has described an alternative that uses fresh distal tibia allograft (DTA).1 The lateral portion of the distal tibia is a great match to the patient’s glenoid because it has similar curvature, dense bone, and cartilage.
The Distal Tibia Allograft Workstation is used along with the instrumentation and cannulated screws from the Arthrex Glenoid Bone Loss Set. It allows the surgeon to use trials to determine the desired size and shape of the bone block and then provides a set of simple cutting guides to precisely machine the DTA to match the trial.

The Modular Soft Tissue Retractor is a versatile adjunct to soft tissue approaches throughout the body. It has a self-locking and self-retaining design with modular paddles that allow it to be adapted to multiple soft tissue uses.
Muscle-splitting approaches about the shoulder, including Mini-Open rotator cuff repair, are ideal for this retractor. The retractor allows firm, yet safe, exposure and its self-locking design allows the shoulder to be moved throughout a range of motion without the retractor becoming dislodged.
The use of the Modular Soft Tissue Retractor allows for more minimally invasive approaches to accomplish surgical, technical goals that previously have been relegated to more open procedures. The interference fit provided by the Tenodesis Screw and FiberWire virtually eliminates graft separation from the bone. The strength of the repair achieved with the system allows patients to generally begin postoperative rehab earlier than previously permitted. The Bio-Tenodesis Screws are composed of PLLA and are available in numerous sizes to fit all applications. There are also titanium and PEEK Tenodesis Screws available for use with the system, if desired.
