Treatment of Patellar Osteochondral Defect with Cartiform®
Jack Farr, MD, (Indianapolis, IN) treats a patellar osteochondral defect with Cartiform®, a viable osteochondral allograft. In an open surgery, the Cartiform is anchored with microsuture anchors. Patient follow-up at 6 months is also presented. Cartiform combines the safety and success of fresh osteochondral allografts with ease of use by being available with a 2-year shelf life, stored at -80°C.
