AmnionXpress™ Delivery Device for Repairable Rotator Cuff Repairs

Tokish, MD (Phoenix, AZ), demonstrates the delivery of a 5 mm × 40 mm amnion streamer using the AmnionXpress™ delivery device to treat early Goutallier changes in repairable rotator cuff tears. The AmnionXpress delivery device allows for the precise delivery of an amniotic tissue strip directly to the pathologic tissues. The natural properties of amniotic tissues help provide an anatomic barrier to aid in providing mechanical protection, while proprietary processing of the Arthrex Amnion™ grafts retains the nutrient-rich growth factors essential for signaling.
