Capsular Closure of the Hip Surgical Technique

Benjamin Domb, MD, (Chicago, IL) demonstrates his technique for capsular closure of an interportal capsulotomy at the conclusion of a hip arthroscopy procedure. Dr. Domb describes his portal placements and suture shuttling techniques to pass sutures through the capsule to re-approximate the separated tissue. Dr. Domb also discusses the use of a capsular plication with an inferior shift to address ligamentous laxity and borderline dysplasia.
