Hip Labral Reconstruction
Hip labral reconstructions are typically performed in revision hip surgery where a previous labrectomy was done, resulting in a compromised suction seal of the hip joint. A knotless technique using the 2.9 mm PushLock® anchor with #2 FiberWire® suture is ideal as it provides a low-profile graft construct and simple graft tensioning with minimal steps. The steps required for measuring the segmental labral defect and subsequent graft preparation and implantation are highlighted. All the components shown are conveniently available in the Hip Labral Reconstruction Kit and can be used for both labral refixation and reconstruction techniques.
