Knot Tying Studies

In this study presented by Dr. Bryan Hanypsiak under the guidance of Dr. Stephen Burkhart, the knots of more than 70 accomplished shoulder surgeons are tested against Arthrex knotless suture constructs. Knotless sutures consistently provided a more dependable strength, while the knots tied by surgeons seemed to produce less consistent load to failure.
