The DynaNite nitinol compression plates take advantage of the superelastic property of nitinol to create dynamic compression across a fusion site. Each plate comes packaged with a compression device. When the compression device is removed, the bridge is allowed to widen to its manufactured natural state. As the plate widens, it shortens to compress the fusion site.
The DynaNite nitinol compression plates are offered in 5 different plate geometries of varying lengths. The plates can be fixated with 3.0 mm or 3.0 mm hybrid cortical and VAL screws.
The Arthrex DynaNite compression plates are intended to be used in conjunction with the Arthrex Compression FT screws.

This trajectory system helps achieve correction and fixation placement using a percutaneous approach. Designed to work with this specific system, the beveled fully threaded screws are angled to provide zero-profile fixation. Additionally, a dedicated power unit and instrumentation are available. The MIS line is further supported by Medical Education courses focused on minimally invasive techniques.
