The family of fully threaded Corkscrew suture anchors was designed for maximum fixation strength and simple insertion. These implants are available in a variety of materials including titanium, PLLA, PEEK, and biocomposite. An internal drive mechanism is combined with a unique FiberWire® suture eyelet to allow for continuous threads along the entire length of the anchor. This design allows the anchor to be inserted flush with the cortical bone surface providing excellent fixation strength and stability while preventing the anchor pullback effect that can occur in conventional anchors with protruding eyelets. The internal drive configuration allows for high insertion torque and the suture eyelet self-aligns to eliminate the need for specific eyelet orientation at the tissue edge. The anchors are available double- or triple-loaded with FiberWire suture or SutureTape to provide the best possible combination for superior repair strength.

The internal drive configuration allows for high insertion torque and rarely requires the bone socket to be tapped. The suture eyelet self-aligns to eliminate the need for specific eyelet orientation at the tissue edge. The anchors are available double- or triple-loaded with FiberWire suture or SutureTape to provide the best possible combination for superior repair strength.

Corkscrew® FT Technique

SutureTape, the upgraded version of FiberWire® suture, is the next generation in suture technology. Compared to FiberWire suture, flat-braided SutureTape is similar in strength and more resistant to tissue pull-through.1 It offers improved handling and knot security with smaller comparable knot stacks. SutureTape is available in 0.9 mm, 1.3 mm, and 1.7 mm sizes and in multiple colors, patterns, and needle options.
