Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Develop a business plan and sales strategy for your overall territory that ensures attainment of company sales, quotas, and profitability for Arthrex products
  2. Responsible for the developments and performance of teams and individual associates within the team with regards to products and techniques
  3. Understanding of instrument/equipment costs and allocated needs within territories
  4. Utilization of analytics and trends to justify purchasing of new equipment, or adjustment of allocating existing sets or par levels
  5. Responsible for being the main technical expert for all items within the product area
  6. Responsible for carrying out the objectives defined by VP of Sales or Director of Sales
  7. Ensure all representatives meet activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes
  8. Initiate and coordinate development of annual and quarterly targeting and action plans to grow business by pursuing sales of existing and new products
  9. Set examples for agency representatives in areas of knowledge base, personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of ImpactOrtho and patient/account information as well as following company policies and procedures
  11. Conduct regular coaching and counseling with agency representatives to build motivation and selling skills and provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
  12. Build strong relationships and work closely with Arthrex management to ensure attainment of required company sales goals, quotes, and proper protocols.
  13. Requires coordination with ImpactOrtho Finance, Operations, and Sales teams
  14. Attend surgeries to provide technical expertise and guidance to surgeons and operating room staff

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in business or marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical device sales and/or product management and/or upstream marketing and/or downstream marketing is required.
  • Experience in the medical products industry highly preferred
  • Orthopedic experience is preferred
  • Understanding of all functions involved in developing, selling, and marketing of product is
  • Excellent Public speaking and presentation skills are

 

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Skilled in working with different functions and effectively coordinates their activities to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customers concerns or objections, in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills are
