Fortis Surgical is seeking a dedicated and independently driven sales professional to serve as the Biologics Specialist. Come join us!

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop Bio sales strategies in collaboration with representatives throughout the assigned territory to successfully meet the needs of the customer and achieve pre-determined sales quotas
  • Execute sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales quotas and key business metrics in support of Arthrex
  • Serve as a knowledge expert in Arthrex’s Biologics product offerings and their application in Sports/DEX profiles, including but not limited to technique, features, benefits, and value proposition
  • Partner with internal sales force to build relationships with surgeons, physician assistants, nurses, technologists, key administration and purchasing personnel and uncover opportunities for sales and service
  • Assist in covering surgical cases in assigned territory, as directed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success in Business to Business (B2B) or technical sales, preferably in Biologics, medical devices, or related specialty
  • Must be a self-starter with a high level of initiative
  • Exhibits adaptability and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and being action-oriented
  • Embodies a competitive spirit
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Access to your own transportation
  • Willing and able to travel frequently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time to attend surgical cases in an operating room, on a daily basis

Being a Product Specialist

The role of the Biologics Specialist is ideal for anyone who is looking to combine their passion for regenerative medicine and experience in sales to further our mission: “To help surgeons treat their patients better”.

In addition to building relationships with prospective and existing customers, this position works closely with representatives from across the territory to initiate, develop, and close sales. It’s pertinent that the incumbent of this role is skilled at managing the execution of sales activities as they relate to the Biologics product line.

The Biologics Specialist will be a salaried employee of Fortis with potential for incentives as the individual actively contributes to quota goals. This position will report directly to the Regional/District Manager of the assigned territory but may take direction from VP of Sales and Agency Owner as well.

The Biologics Specialist will manage the business ethically and adhere to all applicable hospital guidelines including ADVAMED http://advamed.org/
