Description
The Experienced Medical Device Sales Representative is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within the Chicagoland area. The Sales Representative must maintain expert knowledge of the Arthrex product line relating to sports medicine and/or extremities and trauma.
The sales representative must assimilate and learn a high level of technical information, anatomy, and indications related to surgery and procedures. The Sales Representative must be a highly motivated individual who will spend most of their time in the operating room interacting with both staff and surgeons.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent Artemis Surgical, the exclusive agency authorized to sell Arthrex products in the Chicagoland area, Northwest Indiana, and West & North Michigan. Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.
- Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- Communicate with current and new customers regarding a variety of topics, including; product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
- Identify the needs of new prospects, execute new sales plans, and effective marketing strategies to meet and exceed territory objectives.
- Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
- Address any problems that arise at the
- Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become
- Work closely with managers by receiving coaching, training, and mentoring; transferring knowledge to peer Sales Representatives as needed.
- Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, adhering to applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations, accreditation, and licenser requirements.
- Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years sports medicine and/or extremities and trauma sales experience in competitive
- Proven sales success as an associate in the orthopedic industry, must be comfortable in the operating room.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Knowledge of orthopedic surgical cases.
- Strong public speaking and communication skills are
- Demonstrated ability to relate to health care professionals within the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage inventory.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
