Description

Responsibilities:

  • Full-time presence in the lab: daily cleaning, organization, inventory management, and order of lab/course needs
  • Ensuring all lab events are executed safely and expertly – physical presence required for duration of all lab events at Main facility
  • Ensure specimens are ordered and drop off/pickup times scheduled
  • Debrief lab execution with Coastal Medical Technologies employees to maintain quality and efficiency of lab experience
  • Clean lab space and update inventory following each lab event
  • Manage PPE needs for all labs and Medical Education trainings/courses including sourcing for best price and fulfillment from suppliers as well as tracking PPE use by item for all users
  • Manage lab requests, orders, and inventory of Main lab location and assist in managing Sarasota and Fort Myers lab locations

 

Requirements

 

  • Ability to work every day of the week
  • Ability to work a variety of hours (early starts/late end times)
  • Ability to participate in evening or early morning labs and trainings/courses
  • Knowledge in human tissue and basic anatomy
  • Knowledge in medical device products/instruments/equipment preferred
  • Cadaver lab experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to efficiency execute multiple tasks daily
  • Ability to keep composure in crisis situations – creativity in providing solutions
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly, executing sound judgement and responding quickly to changing priorities
