DESCRIPTION:

The Endoscopy Manager/Specialist is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within the entire service area. The manager/specialist must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communication and in-person appointments. He/She oversees the development of this product segment in our EnduroMed geography. The Sales Manager will coordinate and communicate with a team of experienced sales reps. The right candidate must advance current customer relations and establish new relations through constant communications and in-person appointments alone and with team members. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our extensive and growing Endoscopy and Capital portfolio and using this information to drive sales while motivating team members to do the same. He/She will be consulting surgeons in the operating room as well as hospital leadership regarding the use of our products while working closely with our Sports Medicine, Trauma and Extremity, Biologics, Arthroplasty, Spine, and Cardiothoracic Team Leaders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the agency with growing the Endoscopy and Capital line business.
  • Represent EnduroMed, an authorized agency of Arthrex, a leader in the Orthopedic industry, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Gains and maintains an acceptable level of knowledge of the Endoscopy and Capital product portfolio and product line, business objectives, pricing strategies, and proven sales techniques for those products.
  • Launch new products within the Endoscopy and Capital within agency. Re-launch when necessary.
  • Present Synergy products and synergy.net as well as bundled strategy at high-level meetings. This also includes communicating with high-level admin and IT regarding imaging product HIPAA compliance, integration, and networking capabilities.
  • Conducting trials and executing closing activities at key accounts while reporting back to agency ownership and Arthrex Regional Management on representative sales readiness as it relates to Endoscopy and Capital.
  • Training representatives on Endoscopy and Capital products and sales cycle as needed.
  • Communicating product positives and negatives to product managers and Arthrex Regional Sales Management and recommending product line enhancements.
  • Collecting key competitive information and ensuring that knowledge drives both sales effectiveness and product development direction.
  • Ability to organize multiple trials across multiple product lines simultaneously with a high level of organization.
  • Organize inventory, samples, product evaluation equipment and lab environment with the help of Medical Education directory.
  • Train physicians on Arthrex products through education/programs (i.e., labs and training courses). Conduct operating room in-service training programs at hospitals and clinics.
  • Establishes, develops, and maintains contact with key customers, hospitals, OR Staff, administration, and clinicians.
  • Establishes and maintains written and oral communication with both field and internal sales management with attention to sales calls made, follow-up required, market potential and recommendations as to new sales, pricing, or promotional strategy.
  • Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information; protecting the assets of the organization; acting with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and attend sales and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required.
  • Increase territory sales results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Work with Territory Leaders by providing coaching, training, or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when needed.
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales success in Endoscopy and/or Capital products with knowledge in surgical orthopedics.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedics industry.
  • Requires dynamic, assertive individual with technical-oriented leadership ability and well-developed communication skills.
  • Must be experienced in hosting labs and skills workshops.
  • Experienced and comfortable in making executive presentations; must be able to comfortably present to 10 or more people in complex negotiations.
  • Requires the ability to meet deadlines, frequent assignment changes, periodic heavy workload, rapidly changing technology, and dynamic business growth.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS/SPECIALIZED COURSES AND/OR TRAINING:

  • Microsoft Office required including Power Point and Excel
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
  • Strong sense of urgency is important.
