Due to the growth, we are looking for an individual to fill the role of Director of Commercial & Strategy, APAC. The incumbent will oversee the implementation of commercial growth programs across the Asia-Pacific region, leading and being accountable for the rollout of INC and regional commercial initiatives and projects.

These will encompass, but are not limited to, the APAC Growth Strategy, APAC Distributor Management Program, leadership in the Sales Force Optimization Project, and APAC Project Management.

  • Collaboration with the VP and APAC Leadership team, lead and execute the APAC Growth Strategy, which includes creating an APAC strategy aligned with the company's overall goals, managing projects and conducting an annual refresh in sync with the company's strategic planning process.
  • Work with General Managers of indirect businesses to establish an APAC-wide distributor governance, including dashboards and factbooks, leveraging Arthrex's enterprise-wide resources.
  • In collaboration with country GMs, create tools and processes for market assessment potential and prioritization of key projects according to the GTM strategy.
  • Collaborate with country General Managers to annually evaluate and develop CRM strategies (Sales Force Optimisation) that support growth ambitions for each country. Manage the facilitation and liaison with INC teams for implementation, and track and implement improvements for the end-user experience across APAC.
  • Assist the VP of APAC in assessing and implementing a PMO tracking tool for projects identified within the APAC Growth Strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs, to support commercial initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the regional commercial budget for APAC Commercial Activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field with experience.
  • Proven sales leadership experience in Orthopedic medical devices across APAC.
  • Track record managing agent and distributor relationships across APAC.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and other healthcare trends across APAC.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Business travel is a norm and may fluctuate depends on business requirements, as a general guidance 30-40% travel may be required.
