Our corporate mission is to Help Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better®. As a pioneer in arthroscopy, we develop over 1000 innovative products and procedures annually. Due to our global growth and demand, we are inviting an individual to join us and contribute to this expansion.

We are in search of a Director of Operations for the APAC region. Your role will involve establishing and executing the operational strategy across the region to support Arthrex's growth objectives, while also enhancing process efficiencies within the organization.

The role requires matrix management of a variety of direct and indirect country subsidiaries throughout APAC, showcasing enterprise leadership skills in managing warehousing, master data management, service and repair, reverse logistics, customer service, and comprehensive supply chain management.

 

  • Partner with Country General Managers, Regional VP to determine the strategic direction for warehousing, supply chain, reverse logistics, service & repair, and customer service operations across the APAC geographies.
  • Partner with Country General Managers to develop and execute operational strategies for both direct and distributor markets.
  • Annually assess, propose and execute on APAC wide inventory maximization initiatives to ensure 20% plus regional volume growth while reducing back orders & idle inventory.
  • Oversee and assist in- country initiation and ongoing relationships of 3PL and 4PL partnerships.
  • Partner with Country General Managers to ensure appropriate SNOP processes with Agents/Distributors and Direct Markets.
  • Oversee, mentor, and expand a top-performing regional team, instilling a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Provides leadership, management, and development of the Operations team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related with experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years in senior leadership, with a focus on supply chain management, within the medical device sector and advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in multi-country operational management in the Asia Pacific.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of 3PL/4PL, reverse logistics in direct markets, and master data management systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required across the region.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage an operations team effectively.
  • Knowledge of related laws, regulations and business guidelines of the Orthopaedics industry across APAC.
