Arthrex staple options include Compression Staples and the QuickFix Staple System. The Arthrex Compression Staple System was the first cannulated compression staple system on the market, facilitating quick, easy and accurate staple placement with less soft tissue disruption. The QuickFix Small Staple and Plaple Systems enable quick and efficient performance of a wedge osteotomy of the first phalanx (Akin or Moberg). Both implants are made of stainless steel and provide excellent fixation and strength while remaining low profile.

The system includes graduated guidewires for ensuring appropriate leg length, cannulated drills for predrilling (if required), and a low profile staple bridge for minimal soft tissue irritation. The comprehensive instrument set is ergonomically designed and is easy to use.

DynaNite^® Nitinol Staple

The DynaNite Nitinol staple is a low-profile implant that provides exceptional compressive fixation with easy-to-use instrumentation. The Arthrex DynaNite Nitinol staple is intended to be used for fixation procedures such as LisFranc arthrodesis, monocortical or bicortical osteotomies in the forefoot, 1st metatarsophalangeal arthrodesis, Akin osteotomy, midfoot and hindfoot arthrodeses or osteotomies, osteotomies for hallux valgus treatment (scarf and chevron), and arthrodesis of the metatarsocuneiform joint to reposition and stabilize metatarsus primus varus.

QuickFix™ Staple System

The QuickFix Small Staple enables the surgeon to perform a wedge osteotomy of the first phalanx (Akin or Moberg) quickly and efficiently. Implants are made of stainless steel and provide excellent fixation and strength while remaining low profile. The QuickFix staples are designed with 10.5 mm barbed legs, are 1 mm in diameter and 8 to 10 mm wide.
