Procedure

The ArthroFX system was designed to give surgeons a simple, efficient, and versatile solution for temporary or definitive fixation. The system consists of:
• 11 mm Carbon Fiber Rods
• 6 mm Transfixation Pins
• 4 mm and 5 mm Schanz Pins
• Large Combination Clamps and Multipin Clamps with Rod Attachments
In conjunction with the intuitive instrumentation, the single-tray system provides easy-to-use, cost-effective solution to help physicians and hospitals manage fractures with severe soft-tissue injuries, infections, or other conditions amenable to external fixation.

The ArthroFX™ external fixation system is used as a provisional option for the treatment of pilon fractures. The system includes 11‐mm carbon fiber rods and 4‐mm, 5‐mm and 6-mm Schanz screws with combination or multi‐pin clamps for a streamlined solution necessary to restore length, alignment and rotation of the fragments before ORIF is performed.

The Arthrex Small External Fixation System was designed to provide a versatile solution for small-bone fixation. The system consists of 2 mm and 3 mm pins with varying thread lengths and 5 mm carbon fiber rods. Single-pin and multipin clamps allow for flexibility while creating constructs.
