Arthrex DX Reinforcement Matrix

Alan M. Hirahara, MD, (Sacramento, CA) provides an overview of the basic science, data and studies of the Arthrex Decellularized Xenograft (DX) Reinforcement Matrix and other extracellular matrices (ECM). The Arthrex DX Reinforcement Matrix is a xenograft based dermal ECM that has been created as a biomechanically strong and biocompatible scaffold for the reinforcement and repair of soft tissues. Through the OPTRIX processing method, the DX Reinforcement Matrix is rendered acellular, without the need for crosslinking. Provided in a hydrated state for room temperature storage, the DX Reinforcement Matrix is available for immediate implantation without the need for lengthy rehydration times.
