Treatment of a Symptomatic Patellar Cartilage Defect Using the AutoCart™ Procedure

Dr. med. Johannes Holz, MD (Hamburg, Germany), discusses a case in which he treated a symptomatic patellar cartilage defect using the AutoCart™ procedure, including sharing clinical outcomes. The AutoCart technique is principally based on use of the GraftNet™ device to collect particulated osteochondral cells for delivery to the cartilage defect. The osteochondral graft is fixated with autologous thrombin from the Thrombinator™ system.
