Stabilizing the Glenohumeral Joint With Knotless FiberTak® Soft Anchors

Paul E. Caldwell III, MD (Richmond, VA), presents a case of shoulder instability during which he used tensionable knotless technology to rebalance the glenohumeral joint. Dr. Caldwell uses Knotless 1.8 FiberTak® soft anchors for their unique ability to sequentially tension each repair loop. Six o'clock and posteroinferior anchors were placed using a percutaneous instrument kit. Additional anchors were placed anteriorly using a curved spear. To complete the repair, each anchor was individually tensioned and retensioned under direct visualization.
