FiberLoop® es un loop continuo de FiberWire® con múltiples opciones de aguja. Las agujas, junto con la sutura, son fáciles de manejar y de pasar a través del tejido, facilitando la tensión. La preparación del injerto con FiberLoop en la técnica SpeedWhip™ de Arthrex reduce drásticamente el tiempo empleado en la preparación del injerto, comprime el injerto, mejora la fuerza y permite realizar ajustes de longitud del injerto a último momento.

Parte de la familia de suturas FiberWire®, FiberLoop es una sutura FiberWire en la que ambos extremos de la sutura están sujetados a una única aguja, lo que crea un lazo de sutura. FiberLoop es la opción de sutura perfecta para la reparación de tendones de hebras múltiples. Estos productos FiberWire con lazos de diámetro pequeño permiten reparar los tendones flexor y extensor de hebras múltiples resistentes a la vez que reducen el daño provocado a los tendones por el paso de múltiples agujas. FiberLoop está disponible con múltiples opciones de aguja para evitar que la sutura se corte al coser. El FiberLoop N° 2 es un FiberWire N° 2 con lazo continuo sobre una aguja delgada y recta de Nitinol. La aguja recta es de fácil manejo y se mueve libremente en la sutura para volver a centrarse después de pasar a través del tejido y para facilitar un ajuste parejo. El TigerLoop N° 2 tiene tiras distintivas para ayudar a diferenciar las hebras de injerto durante el tensionamiento.

FiberLoop® and TigerLoop™ sutures are a continuous loop of FiberWire® suture with multiple needle options. The needles are easy to handle and move freely on the suture to recenter themselves after passing through tissue and facilitating even tension. Graft preparation using the SpeedWhip™ technique drastically reduces time spent preparing the graft, uniformly compresses the graft, improves strength,1 and allows for last minute adjustments in graft length.

The SpeedWhip rip-stop technique eliminates the weak link in graft preparation by reinforcing the suture/tissue interface with a FiberTag® scaffold. A FiberTag suture is incorporated into the end of the FiberLoop construct to allow each needle pass to include both the graft and the FiberTag scaffold. This construct has been shown to increase the strength over standard stitching alone.1
